Thank you for your wonderful course to kick start my "peace and calm" within. I've improved my sleep and am positive that this will continue. I wish I had started meditating years ago!
Nicole's insights gave me the inspiration I needed to get back in the flow, which has put me in a better headspace all around. I'm so grateful, Nicole, thank you.
I LOVED the course. Meditation always felt a bit distant, something I thought I should do but never really connected with. The book my mum gave me in my teens felt the same way at the time, just out of reach. But 30 years later, you've brought it to life in a tangible, warm, and gentle way. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to explore meditation experientially in a friendly, safe space. I now have a daily practice I actually enjoy, thank you.
Learn how to make meditation a habit for life in only six weeks.
MEDITATION MYTHS
(The most common barriers caused by meditation myths)
Six-week courses using twelve different meditation and mindfulness techniques to discover those that suit you best. Like exercise for your mind, everyone likes different forms of meditation.
Learn the basics about how the brain and body react and adapt to stress and how meditation supports nervous system regulation. This is a learned skill that takes some practice to master, but once the benefits outweigh the effort (like exercise for the body), it will become a lifelong habit.
Meditation is not about zoning out, drifting away, or falling asleep. Instead, the ideal state is "body asleep, mind awake" and building a better relationship with your thoughts.
Meditation and mindfulness are practices of accessing focused awareness through one or more of our senses, including sound, sight, taste, touch, and smell, for 15 seconds to a few minutes.
Meditation offers numerous incredible benefits, including lower stress levels, improved sleep, easier control over cravings, enhanced communication skills, more effective management of one's nervous system and responses, increased clarity of thought, better time management, and more and more moments of joy and love.
Meditation is pretty simple; however, it takes a little practice to make it a habit. By learning not only the "what" but also the "how, why, where, and when," you will have all the tools to keep going and develop this lifelong skill.
